HI ALL!

First, let me apologize for waiting so long to send out an update! My "non-Josh life" has gotten very, very busy over the past few months, and while I've been able to keep the site updated, keeping up with email has gotten a bit challenging. Fortunately, with the beginning of summer, things have begun to slow down a bit, so I'm finally able to get this update out to you. I promise not to wait so long next time!

On the site, I've just recently updated all the pages so that they load faster and are more compatible across all browsers. On the media page, I've broken the files down into four-month segments...Where there used to be just one page for an entire year, now you'll find a drop-down menu where you can select media from January - April, May - August, September - December, or audio from the year. Hopefully, this will reduce the amount of scrolling needed to view the files. Next up, I'll be updating the photo galleries...so watch out for those changes as they're completed!

As for Josh. . . with the end of the LIVE tour, he's taken some time off, and will soon be working on his next studio CD. He's still doing select appearances, though, such as his recent performance with Elton John in NYC to support breast cancer research, his appearance on Oprah, and appearance at the Kentucky Derby.

Here are the media files which have been added since my last update:

USA WEEKEND

Josh was recently featured in USA Weekend Magazine, with an excellent article. . . including a revealing essay written by Josh himself! You can read the text of the article online at http://www.usaweekend.com/05_issues/050522/050522groban.html . The tie worn by Josh on the cover of the magazine was offered for auction on Ebay, raising $4,550 for the Josh Groban Foundation!

NEW CD
According to recent interviews, we should see Josh's new studio release in early spring 2006! It's also been reported that Josh will again be collaborating with Eric Mouquet (of Deep Forest), with whom he co-wrote "Remember When It Rained" and "Never Let Go" for Closer.

JUST FYI. . .
Not Josh news, but maybe of interest to Josh fans. . . Part of the reason I've been so busy over the past few months is that I was asked to create a couple of other websites:

Grobanites For 46664
(www.grobanitesfor46664.com)
The Grobanites have joined with Josh in the fight against HIV/AIDS throughout the world through Nelson Mandela's 46664 Project. At this site, you can learn more about the cause and how you can help support 46664! Currently, GF46664 is conducting its "Penny Power Campaign," with a goal to raise at least $4,666.40 before the start of Josh's next tour. Monthly prizes are awarded based on a drawing from all those who donate-- so check it out!

Zingara Music
(www.zingaramusic.com)
While NOT a Josh Groban site, this is the site for info about Robin Scoffield, the amazing lyricist who wrote "When You Say You Love Me," included on Josh's Closer album. Apart from WYSYLM, Robin has written dozens of other songs, which can be sampled or downloaded on her site. (In the spirit of full disclosure, let me say up front. . .this is a commercial site. While all pages and song samples are free, song downloads can be purchased for $.75 through PayPal. I don't normally endorse any commercial sites--and I do not receive any payment for referrals or downloads-- but am including this site here because I thought it might be of interest to fans of Josh's music. Please forgive my making an exception, just this once. )

Until next time, enjoy the site. . . and keep enjoying the music!
Take care,
Nay
