First, I'd like to thank you for your patience in waiting for the latest updates and media on the website. As some of you already know, my family lives right at "Ground Zero" for Hurricane Katrina. We are all safe and well, and our home miraculously withstood the storm--but I was without internet service for nearly a month. It's been a scary and stressful time, but it could have been much worse for my family...I can't complain. My heart goes out to those around me who were impacted by this storm (as well as Hurricane Rita) and now have to begin the process of rebuilding. Because I've been away for so long, I'm only beginning to catch up...so if you've sent me an email or question, please be patient with me a bit longer--I WILL respond to all your messages!

Josh To Appear on The Today Show
Josh will make an appearance Monday morning, September 26th, on The Today Show (NBC, 7-10AM CST). The segment, airing from Rockefeller Plaza in NYC, will feature celebrities helping to build homes for Katrina victims for Habitat for Humanity. Josh's performance will help to kick off NBC's week-long coverage of the Katrina Relief efforts.

Josh Tribute Airs on Larry King Live
Josh appeared September 10th at the David Foster Foundation Charity Gala in Canada, and his duet of "Angel" with Sarah Mclachlan was taped and used in a tribute to Hurricane Katrina victims on the Larry King Live show on September 12th. This beautiful performance can now be seen on the That Josh Groban Guy media page!
Josh "Smiles" on TanglewoodJosh was the featured guest of the Boston Symphony Orchestra at "Film Night at Tanglewood" on August 27th. Josh performed some of his songs that have been used in films, including "Remember Me" (from "Troy"), "Cinema Paradiso," "Vincent," "Mi Mancherai," and "An Affair to Remember." He also debuted a gorgeous new song, "Smile," which was originally used in a silent Charlie Chaplin film, then later recorded by Nat King Cole. When Josh met with fans later after the show, he hinted that he might consider recording "Smile" on his next CD--so we'll see!

In talking with Josh's manager, Brian Avnet, at Tanglewood, he told me that the target date for the new CD is March 2006! He did say that this is just a GOAL, so no promises...but it gives us something to look forward to!
