Hi all!

Things have slowed down a bit while Josh and the amazing GroBand are on their international tour through South Africa and Europe, but that doesn't mean that there aren't plenty of new things for you to enjoy at TJGG! Here are a few things you might want to check out, if you haven't already:

Listen to the Soundtrack from Polar Express
There is now a link on the main menu page where you can listen online to the full soundtrack from the movie "Polar Express," including the beautiful Christmas song "Believe" recorded by Josh! This great feature is provided by the Polar Express movie website.

New US "Josh Groban Live" Tour
Tickets have now gone on sale for Josh's upcoming US tour which kicks off January 25th in Tampa, Florida. Links have been added on the tour page for purchasing tickets from Ticketmaster, as well as links to the Grobanite "tour/tickets" and "meet and greet" threads at www.joshgroban.com.

"Josh Groban: Live at the Greek"
Josh capped off his great Closer Summer Tour with a taping of the concert at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles in September. This show was released November 30th on DVD/CD as "Josh Groban: Live at the Greek," and was aired recently on many PBS stations during their annual pledge drives. The concert was spectacular, and this DVD really captures the experience of seeing Josh live on tour!

I wanted to make you aware that there have been many reports of defective DVDs and CDs in circulation, which may affect the sound and/or video quality of the recording. If you have purchased "LATG" and find that Josh's voice sounds very "nasal" or muffled...especially on the first three songs...or that you cannot hear some of the instrumentals, it is likely that you received a defective disc. Josh was in finest voice at the Greek (I was there) and the nasal sound is a product of a technical problem in production. Warner Brothers/Reprise Records have been made aware of this problem, and have issued a response:

Hi Everyone,
Thanks for all your support of Josh's new DVD/CD "Live at the Greek" We've seen a few postings stating that people have had technical problems with the discs. Would anyone who has had any difficulty please send an email to liveatthegreek@warnerreprise.com and please be specific as to what the problem is, and where you purchased the DVD/CD and what kind of player you own. It would be very helpful. We will get back to you quickly with a response.

I would encourage anyone who has had trouble with their DVD/CDs contact Reprise at the email address given, so they can work to find a solution to this problem.

You may also want to try adjusting the audio setup on your DVD for Dolby or DTS if you are experiencing sound problems with the DVD. For many people, this has made a major difference in sound quality.

Upcoming Appearances
Josh is going to be very busy throughout the holiday season. Be sure to keep an eye on the "Upcoming Appearances and Events" page for the latest news about where you catch him! European fans can see Josh perform December 14th at the Royal Variety Show on BBC, then he will be back in the US to perform on Good Morning America on Christmas Eve. As always, I will be working to capture these performances and make them available on the TJGG media page.
